We are thinking of upgrading our current 8.5 to 9.02. What are the new features available in the newer version versus 8.5 ? One of the main reason for the upgrade is have group a group reset option in CSD like Ayaya and have custom call reportings. Since there is no abandon call data available in 8.5SU4. Please shed some light on it.
You can check out the release notes for list of features, but the main one is the CUIC web based reporting which can be used in place of HRC. There are other minor changes, such as chat capabilities, etc and under the hood changes such as Linux OS upgrade.
CUIC is a great tool to replace traditional HRC. you have the capability to customize the reports by editing the current report, rename , changing the fields header and creating thresholds.
CUIC is available with premium uccx. with this CUIC version you can't create report from scratch, you can't add a new fileds (like formula fields). to do this customization you need the premimum license for CUIC itself. this license is shipped only with UCCX.
I have a demo version for CUIC (premium one), I connect it to UCCX 9 and work to customize the report.
