Upgrading WFM 8.0(2) to 8.5(2)

I need to upgrade Quality Manager (part of the WFM suite) from 8.0(2) to 8.5(2).

In reading the installation guide, it says that

WFM 8.5(2) supports upgrades from the following versions:

■WFM 8.3(3)

■WFM 8.3(4)

■WFM 8.5(1)

No other upgrade scenarios are supported.

So it sounds like I need to go from 8.0(2) to 8.3(3), then 8.5(2).

For step 1: 8.0(2) to 8.3(3) it appears to support an in-place upgrade.  But for Step 2: 8.3(3) to 8.5(2) it's just a clean install and database restore?

Just wanted to confirm that if possible.

Thanks,

Bill

Upgrading WFM 8.0(2) to 8.5(2)

Hey Bill, nope, actually you don't need to do that.

That's the WFM instructions.  Make sure you get the QM specific instructions (Cisco Unified Workforce Optimization Quality Management Installation Guide 8.5(2))

It allows direct upgrade from 8.x to 8.5(2).

Goodluck!
