Hello Severine,

Usually for CVP CallServer the logs will be located in the location "C:\Cisco\CVP\logs\". They are in clear text format.

Dumplog is used in for ICM process. The dumplog utility converts binary log       files written by Cisco ICM processes into readable format.

hi Senthilkumar
thanks for your clarification,

what i really need is to use that command for the ICM Router Trace, but don't know where to run it.

i was tasked to collect logs for VRU PIM for CVP and rtr log for the rogger.

VRU PIM is straightforward using vrutrace, but ICM Router Trace seems more complicated.

your help to achieve that is welcome.

Hello Severin,

Here is the document about using the Dumplog Utility in ICM. The below link should help you.

Hi  Severin,

For setting the router trace do the below.

On the Router please click on Start -> run -> rtrtrace and then type the customer name and press the Connect Button.

select the components you want to do trace for.

Now use the dumplog utility to collect the logs on router.
