Webview Logs me out

I log into webview and watch my real time reports. After some time of inactivity I get logged out of Webview and must log back in and start the reports over. Is this a normal action or is there a timer that can be set? version is 7.2

Re: Webview Logs me out

This is a normal action, default is 2 hours. You can change this with the following procedure

1. In IIS:

1) Open Internet Service Mgr

2) Right click default web site or csco

3) Choose properties

4) Under the website tab, you will see an area called connections

5) You will see a connection timeout setting

6) The default is 900 seconds I think

7) Double or triple the value and try the report again

2. WebView Timeout Interval

File: \icm\web\webview\reporting\servlet\properties\adminui.properties

Format: Timeout value is in minutes

- Open "adminui.properties" file in wordpad

- Locate "adminui.ADMIN_TIMEOUT=120" in the file and change it to a higher interval

3. Restart WebView services, IIS and Jaguar

See if these settings change the behaivor.
