Write entries in UCCx Informix

Hello there,

In UCCx on Windows based machines, the underlying DB was SQL based. In here, it was relatively easy to search and add records.

Now, on UCCx on Linux based VOS, the DB has changed to Informix. Simple question, is it still possible to read and add entries in the Informix DB?

If so, how can it be done?

Thanks a lot!!

Regards,

Lieven

Write entries in UCCx Informix

Hi Lieven.

No you cannot for 2 essential reasons:

-You can access db_cra only for realtime query purpose from an external source only.

- Informix (is what runs on UCCX 8.x and 9.x) is not a supported db

You can check the compatibility here

Re:Write entries in UCCx Informix

Hi.
The answer is no, you can't add or change anything.
You can, however, go and read information stored in tables and execute stored procedures.

EDIT: Carlo's answer is, of course, correct; my Android tablet did not load it, this is why I posted the same information.
