N2K port speed set

Hi,

I don't see this behaviour on the Nexus 2248 I have here, though they are the non E model i.e., they're N2K-C2248TP-1GE and not the N2K-C2248TP-E-1GE that you have, so perhaps they behave differently anyway.

The obvious difference that I can see between the two ports you've highlighted i.e., Eth102/1/25 and Eth102/1/48 is that the status of port 25 is not connected, as opposed to port 48 which is up and operational. Is there any other difference? Can you paste a show run interface eth102/1/25 all and show run interface eth102/1/48 all so we can compare?

Do you see the same issue i.e., no speed option, for the other notconnected ports on this FEX? Do they then show the speed option as soon as the port is up and connected?

Regards

Ports are connected, there is no relationship with the speed option, such as port 102/1/1 is connected, but no speed option, port 102/1/47 is notconnected, there speed options.

N2K port speed set

Ok, I think I found the reason, if a physical port has been added to the port channel, duplex and speed option can only be configured in interfce port-channel mode.

Thanks.
