Islam - Thanks a bunch for the repsonse and the document was sure useful!
After going through the document, I find two (2) reasons why the CA might NOT be able to pull the content:
A. The folder that we pointed in the ECDS Delivery Service configuration is NOT a Show & Share Publishing folder. We are using some folder where a few videos reside. But I wonder if the crawler service really cares of about that!
Note: When the Delivery Service URL is a UNC path, the manifest parsing succeeds but content pre-fetching fails. When Delivery Service URL is an HTTP, even manifest parsing fails.
B. Window Permission Issue for pulling the file out from the Windows Media Streaming Server, although we configured a 'No Authentication' as part of the Origin Server definition - Any idea on how i could check if the pre-fectch is failing due to an authentication failure?
We will be going back to the site tommorrow to troubleshoot more. I will update the post.
The folder for publishing is not show and share , this is streaming server as Wowza or Adobe flash.Let me discuss with you
1- show and share
On show and share hosting file which is used to point requested files as (.h264,.flv,.wmv ,etc) and on the url which is used on show and share is the origin server URL which you pointed on your ECDS.I will be so pleased if you share with me your tolpolgy and your issues , i hope to get a scinario.

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
