Content when Network is down

Hi all,

I have q simple question:

Is there a way to setup the DMPs to play a local stored content (mpg, swf or jpg on USB_1) in case the network-link goes down?

Regards

Re: Content when Network is down

Yes

After you creat an application in the DMD you have to setup the stage-one failover on the DMP, you must first create and deploy a “File Transfer to DMP or Server” task that saves copies of the presentation and its assets to the SD memory card inside the DMP. When you do this, DMM-DSM automatically creates a “Go to URL” task. The name by default for this generated task is “failover - .” If a DMP should show its locally stored presentation at any time other than during stage-one failover, you must deploy the corresponding Go to URL task to the DMP.

Stage Two Failover Recovery URL — Set this up in advanced tasks in the DMM. This is the URL  or local file that will show immediately on a DMP display after its attached DMP restarts for any reason, unless other content is scheduled to be shown. If this value is blank, your DMP will reuse the most recent URL that failed to load. If there is no connectivity and nothing else loads this content will contiue to play.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
