Lucio,

I would suggest looking at the Cisco MXE-3500:

Cisco Media Experience Engine (MXE) 3500

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/video/ps9901/ps10631/data_sheet_c78-565206.html

For 3rd party software based solutions,  I have had

success with:

* VLC

* Visual Hub

* Prism Video Trancoder

* Any Video Converter

* Kigo Video Converter

* MAC Video Converter

* iSkySoft Video Converter

Make sure that you check the DMP-4400 Data Sheet to verify

that you are using the correct video formats to be played on the DMP:

Also check out Canopus Procoder and Autodesk Cleaner. These are two commonly used professional grade encoding software packages that are found in most pro video production shops. They allow a higher degree of control over your encode as compared to some of the prosumer packages mentioned by Tom. The ones mentioned by Tom will work fine, I just mention these as they have additional features that make them compelling purchases for a pro level deployment.

Thank you I appreciate.

Hi T,

We are trying to use the Cisco MXE 3500 for video conversions. For this , we are developing our custom based application and when we tried to look out for some API documentation for MXE 3500 to control and pass the commands to it, we are not able to find any documentation for that. So can you please help us out to find the proper location of it.

Thanks,

JK
