DMM issue: "warning: the file system "var/log/" is reaching out of space"

We currently have an issue in DMM (5.2.3) where all devices are showing as offline.

I logged in via putty and it is displaying the following error message: "warning: the file system "var/log/" is reaching out of space" I tried deleting all logs/restarting but its still showing up.

My initial research found bug "CSCti86040” but that is meant to be fixed in version 5.2.3

Does any one know how I can access var/log/ to free up space? I am unable to open a TAC case as we don't have a support contract and they refused to give me access to delete the files myself.
