Maybe someone can help me out with this .... I have a DMP-4310g V5.3 connected via HDMI to an NEC E422 LCD which works fine with our telepresence equipment, the DMP can play video but there's no sound. I've tested with SWF, AVI, WMV .... I'm I missing something?

Thank you for any help

Hi Joe,

Have you tried to check the DMP Audio channel volume in the "DMP Display Attributes" in the DMP Device Manager:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/dmp/user/guide/5_x/5_2_x/display.html#wp1160137

Be also aware that Flash audio is not supported on the DMP.

Regards,

Marco

Marco,

Thanks for your input, I called Cisco Tech support and they sent me an MPG file to test with and it worked properly, looks like all my video files were the wrong format.

Thanks again

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the confirmation, indeed the audio codecs of the files would have been the following thing to check. Good to hear this was sorted out.

Good!
