DMP displaying "white browser page" after hours

Hi all,

I have several DMP getting stucked in middle of the night, showing only a blank white page with at the top "The document contains no data" text and sometimes a OK button at the bottom screens (browser). The only task of these DMP is to display a web page auto-refreshed on a central server. It's their startup URL.

We are still investigating to check if it's server or DMP related issue and wanted to know if some of you have encountered this white HTML page.

An obvious workaround is to reboot every morning DMPs or pointing them with the schedule on a "GO TO URL".

Happened with DMP in 5.1 and 5.2, 4305 model.

Thanks for your feedback

Re: DMP displaying "white browser page" after hours

I have not heard of this issue before but it appears the DMP is trying to access

the URL and is experiencing issues getting Data from the HTML page.  Hence the

incomplete data from the HTML.

  • What type of "Data" is displayed within this HTML?
  • What is the complete syntax of the URL?
  • Where is the HTML hosted from?  any firewalls or NAT in between?
  • Have you tested another URL for a "different" html page on a problem DMP?
  • You mention 5.1 & 5.2.. do you have multiple DMM servers?
  • Do you have any Failover configuration configured or enabled on the problem DMPs?
