S&S Hostname Change

Hi,

We changed the hostname of our S&S server previously and I need to change it again but when I do I can no longer sign into S&S, DMM seems fine.

The process I'm following is

Login to S&S AAI update the hostname

Re-pair S&S with DMM

Logout of the S&S AAI

Login to the DMM AAI

Re-pair DMM with S&S

When I try to login to S&S I get the error below on the first attempt, input the credentials again and it takes me to the DMM admin interface, if I click on 'Manage Show and Share' I get the error in the image again,do I need to follow a different process?  boxes are running 5.3.12 and DNS entries are look fine and resolve fine, forward and reverse.

Only way I can fix it is to revert back to the hostname before I changed it.

Thanks

Hi Darren,

Can you verify that after the change the SNS and the DMM are still on the same domain/sub domain as described under the following link:

Hi Nicolas,

They are not, thanks for pointing that out, I didn't see this in the admin guide!
