Hello Netpros,
I have the following question regarding the IIS Media Services running on Windows Server 2012.
Is the SnS capable of receicing the http streaming protocol from the IIS Media Services?
I know that SnS can utilize the mms protocol from the Windows Media Services running on Windows Server 2008 but i am not sure if it can support the http streaming.
Any thoughts pls?
Thank you

Hi
Yes , SNS can receive http streaming , on SNS - Live envents - Add new - when you select WMV - on the URL you can type HTTP URL . To make sure that the output will play on SNS , from any P.C open windows media player and type the URL of your IIS media server , if the video plays , so for sure that the video will play on SNS. I hope to share with us more details about your scinario.
Thank you
