SWF not working in DMP-4305G ??

Hi all

I have created a simple SWF file, which just display a Helloworld text only

Save it as .swf with Flash player version 7

I have uploaded the swf to a web server. i.e. http://192.168.1.100/test.swf

In the Cisco Digital Media Play Device manager > URL to be displayed

the URL is: http://192.168.1.100/test.swf

after I press the "Go" button, the DMP respond the following error message.

/tmp/ftproot/usb_1/.tmp/kxext14n.swf could not be saved because the source file could not be read

Am I missing any config?

Thanks and regards,
Sam

Did you get any answers on this?

If you uploaded the file to the server it shoule be visible in the DMM so in the Presentation editor you can add a video playlist, then add it via the content manager...Right?

The problem is solved by inserting the SWF object in .htm file

I guess the player can't play the .SWF file directly ...

Alirght, thanks for the reply! I guess that would make sense that it needed something to facilitate the swf file.
