can we give someone a link to write us an email securely through CRES

We have a vendor and at the bottom of his emails he has under a signature line Click here to send me a secure email or file.

If you click the link, it opens the default browser to a website that has a few fields such as:

From:

Subject:

Secure Message:

File 1:

File 2:

File 3:

File 4:

File 5:

(Send Communication) <- Button

The To: field is already filled out, because it was pushed via the URL   scp.vendor.com/communicate.aspx?ID1=emailaddress@vendor.com

So my boss thought this was pretty cool and maybe we could put a "web link" in our signature which would take people to CRES, already populated with our email address to send a secure message.

My question to you guys, is this possible at all with what we have today?  We have an Ironport C160.

Hello Keith,

this is not possible with CRES, basically because you have to be a registered user before you can send a secure message via the web interface.

Hope that helps,

Andreas
