Any time an ESA cannot be reached over the network, I recommend using Console access to investigate. Here is how to connect to the Console port on an ESA:

Once you are able to connect and log in, you can use the CLI command 'interfaceconfig' to review the currently assigned IPs as well as update them if needed.
