outgoing mail domain issue

Hello Wajid,

I'd recommend to get in touch with the Postmaster of the destination mail server in question, as the server seems to have an internal issue as per the provided SMTP response. As specified in the RFC5321, the appliance will retry the deliveries as per bounce profile configuration when a 4xx SMTP response code is being received on delivery connections. As the destination mail server is replying on SMTP commands, the hoststatus is seen as up. However, the destination mail server is temproary defering all deliveries due to an internal issue.

Best regards,

Martin

Thanks Martin for your valueable reply, it helps me a lot to face the customer.

Dear martin, can we check the mail queue of ironport, i mean total mails coming in queue for delivery. In tophosts  active receipent only shows the some domain detail, i want to check for complete mails in total.

Also is it possible to add the image or logo in disclaimer in ironport.

Regards,

Wajid Dabir

Hello Wajid, HTML disclaimers

Hello Wajid,

HTML disclaimers are supported since AsyncOS 7.5 (see http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/esa/esa7-5/ESA_7-5_Release_Notes.pdf). By this, it is possible to reference images in a disclaimer as long as the image in question is stored on an internet facing and reachable webserver.

The total number of active recipients can be found on GUI under Monitor -> System Status or on the CLI with the command 'status detail'.

Best regards,

Martin
