Time on received Cisco Registered Envelope incorrect

Hello,

New to the group.  I'm a System Admin who has been given a lot of additional responsibilities since our IT Manager left the company.  Hopefully I am posting this in the right area.

Here's the problem:

Time on the IronPort is fine as far as reporting goes.  However, when I send an encrypted email to a test account, open the email, open the attached document, then authenticate, I am provided with the encryted message.  The date/time is incorrect here.  It's reading January 2011.

I am using the service at 'https://res.cisco.com'.  Is this an issue with them?  Confused as to why this is happening.

We are using the C160 model.

Thanks,

Kirk

Did you ever get this fixed. I just started having the same problem.

The date that's shown once the message has been decrypted is taken from the Date header in the original email message (with the date and time on the ESA the default if there is no Date header), so if you're seeing bad dates there, check how the original message is being created.
