What kind of protection are YOU using ?

I am curious to know what type (if any) of secondary a/v scanning on Exchange you are using behind your IronPort and if so, from what vendor ?



Currently I am using the:
IronPort C100 on Exchange 2003R2, With Trend SMB as a secondary a/v scanning layer.
I am asking this question because my a/v is up for renewal and I am weighing options including switching to a Symantec (Corporate or Enterprise) or CA solution.
I want your expert opinions and advice so that I make a more educated decision.

Whe use a third party product and already use Sophos and McAfee on our C100 :wink:

you probably want something inside your internal email system - in case you get some kind of SMTP/email worm.

If you have no internal email system protection, the Ironport(s) will sit there and grab anything that leaves the system - but it'll run unchecked otherwise.
