Re: ASK THE EXPERT- SECURE YOUR WIRELESS FROM INSIDER ABUSE

How does the dual offering of both IPSEC and SSL VPN capabilities work? Do I have to pre-specify how many users would use each?

Thanks

You do not need to pre-specificy what you would want to use for each. The SSL and IPSEC are interchangeable but will have an effect on resource utilization. Depending on your device, you will need to watch the balance between the two technologies as SSL will consume a few more resources than IPSEC.

Can an ASA doing remote access participate in a VPN cluster with my existing Access Concentrators?

Yes. ASA's can cluster for scaling including seamless clustering with any existing access concentrators.

Hi -

Does a remote kiosk have to have administrator privileges for the CSD component to install and work properly?
