Problem in setting up a new ASA5516-X

i have one ASA5516-X with Firepower Services and i tried to reimage the Sourcefire module but it shows that sfr module is in recovery state and it did not accept any command like Session SFR console, or any other command.

i am waiting since 3 hours after i have given the recover command.

output after giving command 'sh module sfr details' we are getting

Console  Ready

status     Recover

please suggest what to do.

I had similar question not too long ago, although was on a 5506x.

You need to use the following command to get in and complete the install -

UK-ASA-01# session sfr console

You can also look at the console log of the sfr module even if it will not accept the "session module sfr" command.

Use the following command:

show module sfr log console
