SFR - No "bandwidth rate limit" policy based on source IP

Hello security experts,

I can't seem to find the policy for bandwidth rate limiting based on source IP or device type (android or apple mobile devices) on SFR as it was easily configurable with CX module on ASA5515-X.

Does anybody know whether I can set it on Firesight and SFR sensor ASA5515-X?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

Remi

Remi,

unfortunately the bandwidth rate limit / traffic shaping is not currently available for FirePOWER devices.

You can talk to your Sales representative to discuss future road map of the produ

ct in more detailed way.

The feature is in the roadmap and will come up with future software releases 6.X.

Best regards,

Veronika

Hello,

Thank you for the information. I tried the version 6.0.0 but still not there, I guess it will be with the future release 6.X as you say.

Hello, do you know if in 6.2 version this option is now available?

Thank you.

Yes, we can configure this and it works on FMC 6.2.

I have 6.2.2. and here is a screenshot of where you configure it:

Thank you Marvin. It works.
