I thought the existing sessions do not encounter packet drops during rule updates in recent FTD revisions.
I was deploying
Snort Rule Update 2017 09 11 001 vrt
Completed install of Snort Rule Update 2017-09-11-001-vrt
and noticed the interruption in my iperf session
