Active/Active ASA failover

Am I correct in thinking that Active/Active failover is only applicable if you want to utilize 2 hardware appliances (ASA) to act as the respsective active/standby for two or more security contexts.. and you cant have 1 security context active on each appiance at the same time for load balancing

yes, at the same time, just 1 context active on ASA.
