ActiveX filetring on ASA 5520

With the built in ActiveX filter rules, you can stop all activeX to be use on the network and allow only know good activeX sites like Windows updates.

This is good and works well but...

It looks like that Microsoft uses a secret ActiveX to play any WindowsMediaVideo (WMV) and other Media Player format to play video and sound from flash applications.

To be clear, you install the flash player on a computer and the flash IE plug-in, then you browse to YouTube. No problem the video plays find. If you go to a site like Cisco, and the flash video is of one of the format above, it get block buy the ActiveX filter. Even if it's suppose to use the Flash Player.

This is a problem, I have to decide if we roll out Firefox everywhere.

The best solution is if the ActiveX filter could be by ActiveX application. This way I would unblock media player ActiveX.

Is there a solution to this other then Firefox?
