ARP entries for not connect routes

Hello,

I have a pix running 7.2 and for some reason Im seeing ARP entries for routes that are not on the routing table.

For instance, I see an entry 10.0.0.1 0000.0000.0001 (fake)

but my routing table uses 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 200.0.0.1 to reach it

The arp packets are being sent by a server with network problems (but this is another question).

I'd like to understand if this is a known issue.

I thought that we would only see ARP entries for connected routes (or static routes that point to interfaces).

Let me know,

Vlad
