ASA 5505 cannot access outside from inside network

PC----------> Router -----------> ASA ------------> ISP

          E0/0          E0/1     E0/1     E0/0

I am trying to setup a new ASA 5505 to connect through my ISP.  It is a base-license unit.

I am DHCP'ing an address from the router.  (192.168.0.X)

The router is running NAT and has connection to ASA with 10.0.0.2 on router, 10.0.0.1 on ASA

I can connect to the ASA from my PC but are unable to browse the web.  I have setup NAT translation on the ASA but it doesnt appear to be working.

I am attaching config.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: ASA 5505 cannot access outside from inside network

Let's check that the ASA has internet connectivity.

What about the default gateway of the ASA can you ping that? (use show route to find this)

Can the ASA ping 4.2.2.2?

Re: ASA 5505 cannot access outside from inside network

There is no route on the ASA. Add a default route pls.

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x ---> where x.x.x.x is the next hop IP.

You do have ip address dhcp setroute configured so, you will have default route when you issue "sh route" on the ASA correct?

Then you need to add a route on the inside.

route inside 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 10.0.0.2 ---> (reach the PC via the router)
