Thomas Antony

Hi,

There is a server published behind a ASA 5505 with firmware 9.1.1.

Is there a way for counting the amount of data send and received for one specific port?

Kind regards,

Tantony

An option here would be to run a packet capture on the interface.  You can then open the file in wireshark to analyze it.

For how long do you need collect the statistics?

You might also want to look at Netflow. check out this link for Netflow:

If you are just looking for the total number of bytes or packets sent and recieved you could just issue the show interface Gig0/0 command ( replacing the interface number with your own of course.)

I need some statistics about specfic ports/protocols on the WAN interface.

Any ideas?

It seems the only way is Netflow.

Thank you.
