I have the ASA 5510 with CSC Plus installed on a network that also uses ISA 2000. I am having some issues with clients trying to connect to the internet. We often experience bad header errors and also have problems with certain sites like Orbitz. When I replace the ASA with our old PIX, the issues go away so I am leaning toward something with the ASA. The device is currently set up allowing all inbound and outbound connections so I do not know where the problem resides. Any recommendations are greatly appriciated. Thanks
At my location we are currently using a Pix 515E (though I am upgrading to an ASA 5510 soon) with ISA Server 2006 and had some problems with header errors. In our case we resolved those problems by installing an ISA Server 2006 Service Pack.
In the case of the ASA you might want to take a look at the application inspection engine and the 'inspect http' option, if you have that turned on it could possibly be related to your header error problems.
