I'm having some hardware problems with an ASA 5510. I connect the power, it starts, but I don't get any post on my console connection and the LEDs show the following:
Power -- no light (shutdown)
Status -- amber
Active -- amber
VPN -- green
Flash -- no light
What can this mean? My first impression is hardware problem, but what can have failed (according to this LED output)? And the most important thing is, is it possible to repair or solve this problem, or the ASA has to be sent back for a replacement?
We have configured the outside and inside Interface with official ipv6 adresses, set a default route on outside Interface to our router, we also have definied a rule , which also gets hits, to permit tcp from inside Interface to any6.
