ASA 5510 can't boot from flash

hi all,

i'm trying to revive a 5510 but can't seem to boot from flash.

tried to load the image from rommon and confreg is 0x01.

tried 32MB and 64MB flash card from my cisco routers but still the same.

any advise what i can do next?

I'm a bit confused - the last section of your post seems to indicate you are at the enable mode prompt ("ciscoasa#"). Did you boot from tftp or something to get there?

In any case, have you tried to format the flash? ("format disk0:"). That's the last ditch step described here if you don't have TAC support to get an RMA.

Hi Marvin,

Yes, the last section I was able to boot from TFTP. But I can't upload the image from TFTP to flash even after formatting the flash.

It looks like RMA is needed for this box.
