ASA 5510 Failover thing

Hi All

I have 2 5510 in failover and the failover works perfect , but for some reason the main one is the secondary unit and not the one which is configured as primary.

How comes?

There was no shutdown or power loss on teh boxes.

Do u have syslog enabled for the ASA, that could tell you the reason why the failover took place.

to change back the primary to active, use the console to get into the primary and issue that command

failover active

I have re-enabled the primary as active once I saw that it was secondary in the pair , but the logg does not say anything as in why the backup became active.
