ASA 5510 - several changes?

I have to make several changes in the configuration due to our company switching Internet Service Providers.  Is it best to do a "show run" at the command line, then just copy/paste new config into the ASA?  Or is it better to run the "more system:running-config" command?  We don't want to miss anything out of the current configuration.  For example; when we run "more system:running-config" it provides config for "asdm location", whereas the "show run" command does not.  Please advise!  This is a change that is taking place this weekend, so any immediate advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi,

I think the best is to copy the running or startup config to a TFTP server.

Then upload the configuration into the new ASA (assuming the new ASA has a default configuration).

copy flash tftp

copy tftp flash
