ASA 5540

Hi all !!!

In our existing scenario we are using 6509 having switch, msfc, idsm and firewall modules.

We are going with ASA 5540 and 3750 switch as a backup for this box.

Any suggestions while implementing this like the command which asa doesn't suppor and firewall does etc..

Hi Mate,

If you have the same OS version on both FWSM and ASA then you should have the same commad set.

Of course there will still be some differences that relate to the architecture of each one of them but the main inspection and filtering commands will be the same.
