ASA 5550 A/A failover

Hi

When ASA is configured in A/A failover, is it possible to reach 2Gbit/s throughput (1Gbit/s over each ASA) or limitation is set on 1Gbit/s total?

thanks

I'm not going to give you exact numbers and will refrain from understanding what kind of testing you would like to do and how the test is set up.

I will say this however,

it is expected to achieve almost doubled performance while using A/A failover compared to a single unit in active by carefuly balacing traffic between units. Remember that some overhead is expected and actual results may depend on how you're testing and physical connectivity.
