ASA 5585-X with SSP-40

Hi,

With teh product above can the 10GE interfaces on the SSP-40 be used purely for firewalling without the use of the IPS functionality.

Thanks.

Yes. IPS module is optional. You can verify that in the following link

Re: ASA 5585-X with SSP-40

How can i Order this in this case.

i am trying to configure ASA 5585-X device using Cisco Configurator, but it is not giving any option to add the IPS SSP module.

I want both solution in the same Box. I have confgiured ASA5585-S20-K9, ASA 5585-X Chassis with SSP20,8GE,2 SFP,2 Mgt,1 AC, 3DES/AES, but think this SSP20 is Firewall/VPN SSP only, i should add another IPS-SSP-20 with the Box, but not getting option to add this module.

appreciate any kind help in the same.

regards

Sunny
