ASA ACLs loss

problem description: 2 ASAs with multiple contexts and failover. an important ACL entry was lost on the running configuration eventhough no failover occured (entry still available in the startup configuration). Nothing was found on the bug toolkit - Current version 8.2(1). the memory dedicated to ACLs is not saturated. Did anyone face a similar problem?

Appears to be a buggy behavior; upgrade should be performed.

Hi,

Cisco TAC were contacted and they confirmed that it is not a bug or hardware problem, do u have any documented bug for our version 8.2.1? we have searched a lot and did not find any
