Hi Everyone,
For learning purposes at my home lab i have 2 ASA.
They have active/standby feature.
Currently single ASA has uplink connection to ISP modem.
This ASA has 2 interfaces going to 2 different switches.
Need to know if i configure second ASA will it work fine as active/standby even though i have single connection to ISP?
Regards
MAhesh

yes you can... assuming that you don't have spare IP address on your outside interface that connects to the ISP, you can configure your ASA internal interfaces with failover, and disable failover on the outside interface.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for reply back.
I will test this failover in coming days.
Best regards
Mahesh
