asa configuration based on version

Hello,

If we configure an asa with version 8.2 using the same configuration as existing on a pix with version 7.1, will there be any changes in syntax or any other feature defaults that need to be taken care of. Any other possible problems when the asa is integrated with the connections.

Yes, there may be problems using the same commands as some things are not exactly the same. Please refer to this recent thread for more information.
