ASA Firewall License migration Cluster

Hi all,

I have the following question about ASA's related to clustering and licensing.

We have 2 ASA's 5515X, both security plus.

One is active at the moment, with anyconnect for VPN, thus he has also some anyconnect licenses activated on it.

Now we have a second ASA, brand new out of the box and we want to create a Active/Passive failover cluster with the already installed ASA.

However on the new box we created a new nice clean config, so we want to put the new ASA as the active one, clear the old one and have it as the passive one.

But what about the anyconnect licenses, do i need to do something with them, or will they be available for the full cluster, even when activated on the passive one?

Thanks in advance for your advice

The licenses of both units will be combined into the cluster. So after clearing the config on the first ASA and bringing it into the FO-system, they will show up in the cluster.
