Sorry if this is a duplicate post (tried to move it from another Discussion)....
I'm trying to determine how to size the memory on an ASA5540. We currently have the minimum (1024Mb), but we're getting ready to double the number of remote access VPN sessions on it and I want to ensure it has enough memory to handle the tunnels. It's currently averaging 175 sessions. I'm guessing there's no need to upgrade, but at what point will I want to consider it and are there any resources out there explaining how to determine the correct memory size?
