I am trying to protect a single web server behind an ASA5505. Although basic threat detection identifies attacking hosts, it does noting but to log unless attack is of certain types of scan attack. In documents, it is suggested that AIP-SSM module has the auto shun capability for that circumstances. Equivalent units for 5505 are supposed to be ASA-SSC-05 and ASA-SSC-10 modules which are mentioned in some of the documents as well. But I can not find any detailed info about them. Has anybody know any more about ASA-SSC modules?
