I have inserted the SSD but when the ASA loads it mounts the SSD as DISK1

On an ASA, disk0 always refers to the internal compact flash (CF) memory. That is the default boot location.

An ASA SSD is designed for use with the Firepower service module. It is not designed, nor does it support being used, as the location for the ASA software boot image.
