ASA standby unit ARP request

In an ASA active/standby pair setup that I have, an upstream router seems to be getting ARP requests from both the active and standby ASA. Is that normal? I thought only the active unit would do all the ARP requests and ARP tables get replicated to the standby rather than the standby doing it's ARP requests. So basically I have this upstream router showing both the active and standby unit's IPs/MACs in it's ARP table.

Thanks!

Hello,

Why do you mean seems to be getting ARP request?

How did you saw that,

If you evern ping from the Standby unit or from the router to the standby IP the IP to MAC Resolution will happen and ofcourse you will see the entry in the ARP table of the router.
