ASA taking long time to save configuration

Hi,

We have ASA 5520 installed in Failover mode.

The configuration file has become a 35 pages Microsoft word document. While saving it is taking 4 seconds to save the configuration. Is it an alarming situation that we need to look at the configuration or it is ok. As the CPU utilization at peak business hours has never been more that 4 %. Are there any serious threats for such situation.

do we have any method to have a health check done on firewalls?

Any such experinece pleasr share.

That should not cause an issues - what is an issue is that your config is so large.

You need to perform a review and perhaps some rule consolodation.
