ASA5505 boot command

Hi,

To my understanding the ASA doesnt have to have an "boot" command configured to function.

Naturally this is not suggestable or convinient.

The ASA to my understanding boots the first image file found on the Flash memory if no "boot" configuration command is set. And in your case that seems to be the case. The software 7.2(4) has been loaded during boot instead of the 8.0(5)

Try to set the software you want to use with the

boot system flash:/.bin

Hope this helps
