I have an ASA5505 base unlimited hosts licensed box with. As per cisco marketing numbers its supposed to provide 150Mbps speed for firewalling. However I am observing different results.
I did bandwidth speed test using various internet based sites and found following comparison.
Does cisco cap the throughput on base license some how? This comparison is using same exact internet connection at same time of the day. I really like the ASA box but if it slows down my internet then I would rather stick with NetScreen-5GT box.
