Hello, I need some help getting my ASDM working again.

For some reason when I try used ASDM I can't get pass the authenticate part.

When I try to ssh to the same firewall using the same username and password worked fine no issue.

ASDM version 712-102

Any ideas to get this to work again would be helpful

Do you have the following required setting:

     aaa authentication http console LOCAL

(the LOCAL is case-sensitive)?

here is my setting

aaa authentication http console radius LOCAL

OK, that will work as long as you have a working RADIUS server configured.

If the RADIUS server cannot be reached, the ASA will fallback to local authentication.

If the RADIUS server is reachable but not authenticating you then the ASA will not fallback to local.

Can you confirm you are using your credentials authenticated by the RADIUS server for ssh? If you are then you should see authentication attempts logged on the RADIUS server when trying to login via ADSM (which uses https).

Well, I check the setting between the HTTP and SSH on the show run aaa command

I found that radius is not setup up on the SSH it points to a LDAP server which is not working then it fails to local.

So I check the radius server it is not working correctly AD but of the server is having errors. I don't understand why if the radius server is not working right that local is not working right.

So I took out the radius command to make it default to local user only

It work
