is there a way to automate copying ASA config files to a tftp server?
i do this for our IOS boxes ... when a config , in-house code kicks in and uses CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB to grab startup-config and checkpoint it into a change tree
but as far as i can see, ASA doesn't support SNMPSets, much less CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB
and i don't see support for Embedded Event Manager ...
in theory, i suppose i could write code to ssh into the box and perform a 'write net' via the CLI, though i don't like the idea of leaving an administrative username/password hard-coded in such a script. [but in practice, we lock down ssh access via RSA tokens, so this isn't a productive path either]
am i missing some capability through which i could automate saving config files? or is it time to submit a feature request?
